FPGA Developer (m/w/d)

in München in Festanstellung an.

Deine Aufgaben mit dem Team:

• Entwurf, Entwicklung und Simulation von FPGA-Modulen unter Gewährleistung von Funktionalität, Leistung und Zuverlässigkeit
• Implementierung von FPGA-Firmware für hauseigene Hardware-Designs unter Beachtung bewährter Verfahren hinsichtlich Wartbarkeit und Skalierbarkeit
• Mitwirkung an der Entwicklung von FPGA-basierten Baugruppen, einschließlich der Auswahl und Bewertung von Bauteilen, des Entwurfs und der Überprüfung von Schaltplänen sowie der Festlegung und Validierung von Layout-Vorgaben
• Interdisziplinäre Zusammenarbeit (Hardware, Software und Systemtechnik) zur Integration und Validierung von Baugruppen und FPGA-Konfigurationen
• Durchführung von Tests, Fehlerbehebung und Optimierung auf Systemebene für FPGA-Designs und Hardwareplattformen
• Sicherstellung der Einhaltung festgelegter Entwicklungsprozesse, einschließlich Modulspezifikation, Architekturentwurf, Implementierung, Verifizierung, Integration und Überprüfung
• Erstellung und Pflege einer übersichtlichen technischen Dokumentation für entwickelte Module, Schnittstellen und Testverfahren
• Unterstützung der kontinuierlichen Verbesserung von Entwurfsmethoden, Arbeitsabläufen und Verifikationsstrategien

We would be delighted if you bring the following with you:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree with 5+ years of experience in FPGA design and programming
• Experience with Altera or Xilinx FPGA devices and related tools (Quartus or Vivado)
• Proficiency in VHDL
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
• Experience with simulation tools such as ModelSim (or equivalent)
• Solid understanding of FPGA design flows, including synthesis, place & route, timing closure, and debugging
• Experience with debugging tools such as logic analyzers (e.g., SignalTap, Chipscope/ILA)
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as in a multidisciplinary team
• Good communication skills and a structured, process-oriented way of working
• Fluent English required
