Masterand Applied Competitive Business Intelligence (CBI) (m/f/d)

Introduction

Join our Business Development and Strategy Division in Munich (Germany) at the earliest possible date.

Tasks

• Lead the process to develop the CBI target picture with relevant stakeholders (e.g., Strategy, Portfolio, Product Management, Sales/Marketing)
• Research and assess best practices, frameworks and methods (e.g., early-warning systems, signal-to-noise, trigger definition, intelligence workflows)
• Define a suitable CBI operating model (key questions, inputs/sources, refresh logic, roles & responsibilities, output formats)
• Design and implement a prototype including:
  • automated data/insight retrieval (based on defined sources and signals)
  • dashboard / competitive radar to visualize insights

Qualifications

• Current master studies in Business Administration/Economics, Industrial Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems or similar
• Strong interest in strategy, technology markets and competitive dynamics (ideally B2B/tech)
• Structured, analytical working style and strong communication skills (interviews/workshops with stakeholders)
• Experience or interest in analytics/dashboarding and automation (e.g., Power BI/Tableau; Python/APIs-depending on feasibility and internal constraints)
• Very good command of written and spoken English and German
