Your Tasks
As a Dual Student, you will support strategic Target Costing projects. You are a key catalyst to the change management towards a more digital company:
- Development of cost models and digitization tools
- Master digitization techniques across the end-to-end sourcing journey working out of a cross-domain pool of experts
- Technology evolutions and inflation trends related to cost-per feature
- Cost-Modeling of future products under development (Bill of Material, component costs research, benchmarks and supplier analyses)
- Tear down of existing products (prototypes) and competitor products in the TC@P Labs
- General support of the Target Costing team in and around the TC@P Labs
- Work on automation opportunities, standardization of visualization templates, efficiency measures via AI
- Business-relevant university thesis project, which you will plan, stage, execute and present independently
Your Profile
Well-completed Bachelors (180 ECTS) in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical) or comparable area with strong technical focus:
- Previous internships, hands-on mentality and practical engineering experience are an important decision criteria
- Curiosity in telecommunication technologies, interest in consumer electronics, telecommunication networks or manufacturing industries are a strong plus
- Proven track-record in digitization: Fluid in advanced Excel skills, some basic programming and interest to master PowerBI automation and AI frameworks
- Pro-active, strong team player and consultant-minded with a focus on customer orientation.
- Very good analytical skills and communication/ presentation competences, assertiveness and strength in argumentation.
- High personal engagement in a dynamic environment where you can unfold your creativity.
- Fluent Business English mandatory
French and/or German language skills are beneficial.
