Electrical engineer (f/m/d)

Your Tasks

As part of a collaborative project funded by the BMFTR on microwave-assisted glass manufacturing, as well as other R&D and externally funded projects, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Planning, conducting, and documenting your own research work in the field of "industrial materials processing technology using microwaves"
• Active communication with project partners and clients
• Collaborating on the development of ideas and the acquisition of new projects in the aforementioned research area
• Publication of research results in international scientific journals and presentation at national and international conferences
• Assisting with the filing of patents
• Support in the area of teaching, i.e., supervising student assistants as well as bachelor's and master's theses

There is an opportunity to pursue a Ph.D. in addition to your research activities.

Your Profile

• Master's degree in electrical engineering
• Excellent knowledge of simulation tools such as CST Microwave Studio and COMSOL Multiphysics
• Extensive programming skills in MatLab and Python
• Excellent written and spoken German and English
