In detail, the focal points of your work are:
- Conducting process modeling based on the modeling of individual process steps, taking into account the interactions within the overall process
- Using methodologies such as techno-economic analysis and life-cycle analysis to perform evaluations based on defined example processes from the literature and in collaboration with partners in the ETOS cluster projects
- Simulation of the integration of electrochemical processes into process chains
- Preparation of a detailed literature review on the subject area
- Identification of suitable candidates for the transfer of electroorganic processes to the chemical industry
- Selection of suitable example processes described in the literature for evaluation
- Preparation of presentations for meetings within the ETOS consortium
- Presentation of results at scientific conferences
- Preparation of interim and final reports
- Preparation of manuscripts for publication in international scientific journals
In addition to the scientific activity, there is the possibility of a doctorate.
Your Profile
- A completed university degree (Master's/Diploma) in chemical engineering, process engineering, or industrial engineering with a focus on chemical process engineering, or a degree in chemistry with a focus on technical chemistry
- Experience in developing models in MATLAB or Python, as well as process modelling tools such as Aspen Plus or gProms
- Experience in evaluating process concepts
- Strong ability to collaborate in interdisciplinary teams
