Working Student - Database (m/f/d)

Rosneft Deutschland GmbH, located in Berlin, is currently under trusteeship of the Federal Network Agency (Bundesnetzagentur).

We hold interests in three German refineries which account for 12% of total processing capacity in the Federal Republic of Germany. We are responsible for the marketing, supply and transportation of mineral oil and renewable energy products throughout Central Europe.

To support our Asset Management Team, we are looking for a Working Student - Database (m/f/d).

Your tasks

• Develop, optimize and maintain queries/views, specifically for use in APEX applications
• Review existing and frequently used SQL queries and (materialized) views to identify performance improvement
• Support and advise colleagues in writing efficient, well-structured queries

Your profile

• You are currently enrolled in a degree program in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data
• Engineering, or a similar field
• You have a solid understanding of relational databases and SQL
• Experience with Oracle Database (PL/SQL), Oracle APEX, data modelling or data warehousing concepts is a plus
• You enjoy analyzing complex data structures and working independently in large production database environments
• You have an excellent command of written and spoken English; German is a plus
• You are interested in working 16-20 hours per week alongside your studies over a longer period
