Ihre Rolle
  • You will develop methods for implementing new concepts for measurement, calibration, and adjustment procedures for the world's fastest electron microscope
  • You will be responsible for the technological development of new calibration and commissioning strategies, taking into account aspects of specification management, software and hardware architecture, and test and verification strategies
  • You will assume technical leadership of subprojects and support the project manager and line manager in task allocation and the feasibility of complex development tasks
  • You will work closely with system engineering, project management, and product management to meet technological requirements while balancing timing, cost, and quality
  • You will support project and subproject managers by applying methodological expertise and actively promoting quality-supporting procedures (milestone reviews, FMEA, technical exchanges)
  • Document requirements and results, and present them both internally and to customers and international development partners


Your Profile:
  • You hold a college degree with above-average grades in physics, mathematics, or an engineering discipline
  • You have several years of experience in object-oriented programming, ideally with MATLAB, as well as experience in software validation
  • You have knowledge and experience in designing software and device architecture and are able to identify solutions to complex problems in a methodical and interdisciplinary manner
  • You have several years of experience in developing measurement and calibration methods, as well as in overseeing various phases of the development process
  • You have already gained experience working with and operating complex machines and are able to explain them at the system level
  • You have a structured, independent, and goal-oriented approach to work, a quick grasp of new concepts, strong problem-solving skills, experimental aptitude, and an eye for what matters most
  • You inspire others with your strong communication skills, eagerness to learn and dedication, and strong team spirit, and you can articulate your point of view appropriately and effectively
  • You have excellent written and spoken German and English skills
