The Global Commercial Skills & Training - Content Management Director (m/f/d) is a specialist Commercial Excellence enablement role responsible for translating the Global Commercial Skills & Training strategy into structured, scalable and governed commercial skills content, learning pathways and reusable learning assets across Global and Regional Business and Market Units.
The role ensures that commercial skills and knowledge content is strategically aligned, high quality, current, scalable, measurable and easy for Business and Market Units to adopt, deploy and sustain. It enables field and commercial teams to build the right attitudes, skills and knowledge and to convert learning into observable commercial behaviors and performance outcomes.
The role acts as the content and learning-pathway integrator within the Commercial Excellence ecosystem, ensuring that commercial skills content, reusable assets, digital learning resources are aligned to the global capability-building strategy.
By maintaining a common commercial language and clear localization guardrails, the role supports global consistency while enabling Business Units and Market Units to adapt examples, scenarios, language and competency emphasis to their local customer realities and strategic priorities.
The role is accountable for operationalizing and scaling the Global Commercial Skills & Training strategy through content, learning pathways and asset architecture.

Requisite Qualifications and Experience

- Commercial Skills & Training strategy alignment: Ensures scalable Commercial Excellence capabilities through structured, reusable, and up-to-date content linked to practical application, coaching, and execution.
- Fresenius Kabi strategic roadmap alignment: Translates and helps shape strategic priorities into relevant learning content reflecting current and future capability needs.
- Global consistency with local relevance: Maintains global standards and a common commercial language while enabling controlled local adaptation.
- Digital learning ecosystem alignment: Collaborates with IT and LMS/LXP teams to ensure content is optimized for digital delivery, accessibility, and reporting.
- Capability and performance impact: Connects content to roles, competencies, and measurable outcomes in partnership with key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Content Strategy & Architecture
- Develop and manage a global content strategy and roadmap aligned with Commercial Skills & Training priorities
- Translate strategic priorities into structured, scalable learning content
- Build and maintain a clear content architecture (global vs. local content, reusable assets, consolidation of redundancies)
- Identify content gaps and drive continuous optimization
Learning Pathways & Curriculum Design
- Design and maintain structured learning pathways (e.g., onboarding, role-based development, coaching journeys)
- Integrate multiple learning formats (classroom, digital, microlearning, coaching, assessments) into end-to-end learning journeys
- Support certification frameworks and capability development aligned to defined competencies
Content Lifecycle Management & Governance
- Manage the end-to-end content lifecycle (planning, development, review, publishing, updating, retirement)
- Ensure quality standards, consistency, and global alignment
- Establish governance processes including version control, localization, and approval workflows
Learning Asset Development
- Oversee the development of practical, high-quality learning assets (e.g., eLearning, facilitator materials, job aids, coaching tools)
- Ensure strong application focus through realistic scenarios and use cases
- Promote modular, reusable content building blocks
Business Enablement & Knowledge Sharing
- Support Business and Market Units in adopting and localizing content
- Enable best-practice sharing and knowledge exchange across markets
- Balance global standardization with local relevance
Digital Learning Ecosystem
- Ensure effective deployment of content within LMS/LXP platforms
- Define metadata, structure, and standards for digital content
- Collaborate with IT and platform teams to optimize learner experience
Measurement & Continuous Improvement
- Track content usage, effectiveness, and impact
- Drive continuous improvement based on data and feedback
- Manage external vendors and ensure quality, timelines, and deliverables
Requisite Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Life Sciences, Healthcare, Learning and Development, Instructional Design or a related field. Master's degree, MBA or equivalent commercial experience is an advantage.
- At least 7 years of experience in commercial excellence, sales force effectiveness, sales enablement, commercial training, learning content management, capability development or a related function.
- Demonstrated experience managing learning content across multiple Business and Market Units, regions or business units in a complex matrix environment.
- Strong understanding of commercial skills such as consultative selling, coaching, account planning, stakeholder mapping, remote selling, business review, customer engagement and sales manager capability.
