Performs pre- and post-award contracting functions using simplified acquisition methods to procure supplies and services for Army NAF operations. Reviews requirements, develops solicitations, evaluates offers, negotiates awards, administers contracts, monitors contractor performance, and completes contract closeouts. Maintains compliance with regulations, supports customers, uses automated acquisition systems, and may serve as a warranted Contracting Officer or Acting Team Leader.Qualifications:RESUMES MUST BE TWO PAGES (OR LESS). QUALIFICATIONS MUST BE CLEARLY VERIFIABLE IN YOUR RESUME. GOVERNMENT POSITIONS MUST INCLUDE PAY PLAN, SERIES, GRADE, TO AND FROM DATES, AND GOVERNMENT AGENCY/DEPARTMENT. Must include at least one year of experience performing duties at a level which equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to perform successfully in the position.
All Qualified applicants will be rated against the highly qualifying criteria by a rating panel for evaluation of the quality and extent of your total accomplishments, experience, and education. Those applicants determined to be highly qualified will be referred to the hiring official for consideration. The highly qualified candidates may undergo an interview and reference checks.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Qualified candidates will possess experience performing duties equivalent in scope and complexity to the next lower grade level, including:
- Experience demonstrating knowledge of basic acquisition regulations, policies, laws, and techniques for simplified acquisitions.
- Experience applying simplified acquisition contracting principles, techniques, methods, and procedures of contracting.
- Experience evaluating offers for responsiveness, price reasonableness, and responsibility.
- Basic knowledge of sources of Government supply and services, including established and mandatory sources.
Preferred candidates will possess a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 24 semester hours of business courses, a Certified Professional Contracts Manager certification, a Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act Level II/II in contracting, or other applicable professional certification.
