Job description

Responsible for PLC software development for automation systems, while also supporting commissioning activities both in-house and at customer sites in Germany and abroad.
Design and implementation of technical software concepts in close collaboration with project teams and customers.
Planning, coordination, and execution of software tasks within automation projects, ensuring compliance with quality standards, project schedules, and technical requirements.
Continuous development and standardization of software modules, as well as support in the preparation of technical documentation.

Requirements

Successfully completed technical vocational training or a degree in
Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable qualification.
Professional experience in PLC programming and automation technology, ideally in the machine and plant engineering industry.
Strong knowledge of Siemens SIMATIC Manager or Beckhoff TwinCAT is required.
Experience in commissioning automated systems.
Independent, solution-oriented working style with good English communication skills.
Willingness to travel for project-related assignments (up to 30% travel).
