Internship Corporate Security (Security Risk Management)

Understand global security trends, identify strategic connections, and gain insights into the corporate security operations of an international airline group-during this internship, you'll experience firsthand how well-informed decisions are made in a dynamic environment. Work alongside experts and further develop your analytical and technical skills.

Tasks
You will support Lufthansa Group Corporate Security Risk Management in assessing and monitoring the global security situation and its impact on flight operations and business units, as well as:

• Participation in the creation and development of geopolitical risk analyses
• Acquiring practical skills with a focus on managing and implementing current projects, as well as the continuous development of internal processes, training programs, and tools
• Contributing to the continuous optimization and improvement of internal processes
• Supporting internal stakeholder and quality management for Lufthansa Group airlines and business units
• Collaborating on continuous risk assessment, as well as the associated communication and documentation
• Participating in active situation management during acute and potential crisis situations
• Creating presentations and project-related documents for the visual presentation of information, including newsletters, templates, and dashboards

• At the time of the internship, you must be in at least your third semester of a degree program
• You must be enrolled for the entire duration of the internship (a current certificate of enrollment and a written certificate of mandatory internship must be included with the application) or the internship must take place between your bachelor's and master's programs (gap year)
• Excellent German and English skills (written and spoken)
• Very good knowledge of MS Office
• Ability to work independently and in a structured manner
• Interest in security risk management and aviation
• Good communication and collaboration skills
