Explore your tasks and responsibilities
- Responsibility for the preparation of tenders, negotiation, awarding, and execution of works contracts and works-and-supply contracts with a value in the multi million euro range.
- Monitoring and progress control of subcontractor performance.
- Commercial handling of subcontractor claims.
- Supplement and change management to/from subcontractors.
- Claim management in close cooperation with contract management.
- Minimizing risks that may arise from subcontractor delays through proactive planning and communication.
- Close cooperation with engineering, design, quality management, planning, and project management to ensure smooth project execution.
- Continuous improvement management through regular feedback and implementation of lessons learned.
- Regular reporting to the Project Procurement Manager.
Show your expertise
- Completed degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Several years' experience in project management in large-scale projects, preferably in the construction or plant engineering industry.
- Understanding of project execution models (EPC, EPCM, etc.).
- Very good IT skills, particularly MS Office and ERP systems (ideally SAP S/4HANA, SAP Ariba, RIB iTWO).
- Knowledge of handling contracts in accordance with VOB, BGB or HOAI is an advantages.
- Proficient in both English and German, spoken and written.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel nationally, with on-site work depending on the project phase.
- Decisiveness, openness to change, strong interpersonal skills, and a solution-oriented working style.
