Global Brand Lead, Gonal-f (All Genders)

Your role:

The Global Brand Lead for Gonal-f defines the integrated brand strategy and brand plan in line with the TA strategy with a clear focus on must-win battles and strategic initiatives, incorporating internal and external expert input. Defines strategic direction on financial performance at global level. He/she leads the Global Brand Team, sets and executes brand strategy at global level and ensures interaction with key countries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Shape the strategic direction for Gonal-f, by defining and implementing integrated and cross-functionally aligned global brand strategy.
  • Understand and leverage the interplay and inter-dependence between different brands in the portfolio, and ensure the Gonal-f global brand plan is aligned with the over-arching portfolio strategy
  • This role is pivotal in ensuring that the foundation of the Fertility portfolio (Gonal-f) stays robust, with sharp scientific differentiation led value proposition; and that marketing initiatives are effectively aligned with broader business goals and market dynamics.
  • Defines global brand strategy for Gonal-f:
    • Defines global brand strategic imperatives and ambition and ensures that they are considered in regional & country brand planning
    • Co-leads integrated brand planning together with Medical & GVAP
  • Leads Global Brand Team (forum for cross-functional and cross-regional alignment on strategy and operations)
  • Develops global marketing tactics (e.g. campaign, events, brand books, digital marketing assets, etc.) addressing common needs across regions
  • Coordinates launches at global level (for applicable LCM initiatives), develops launch plan (incl. Go to Market model) and global marketing materials, and consolidates global business cases working closely with GTL and GVAP lead
  • Strategic relationships with customers (e.g. KOLs) in the therapeutic area to support commercial activities in alignment with compliance guidelines
  • Ensures long term success of brand (e.g. SD ambition, production capacity, etc.)
  • Financial (long term strategic P&L):
    • Drives medium- long term financial planning (e.g. SD) and alignment with regions
    • Tracks performance & mitigates headwinds with support of RFLs
  • Sets geographical business priorities, including RA roll-out plans, supply allocation priorities and business model
  • Facilitates best practices sharing across regions
  • Ownership for global commercial evaluations in BD/AM projects such as Commercial Forecasting and cost assessment for operational expenditure to derive a solid Business case working together with LCM lead.

Who you are:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or Life Sciences; an advanced degree (MBA, MS, or MPH) is preferred
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of pharmaceutical marketing experience, with at least 2 years in a role managing cross-functional projects and matrix set-up
  • Fertility experience and expertise is preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in building and executing robust brand strategy and achieving revenue growth.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to think long-term, anticipate market trends, and drive business growth and profitability.
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to connect with country teams from diverse geographies and healthcare landscapes - to build impactful global brand strategy.
  • Team-player, with ability to understand and leverage the interplay and inter-dependence between different brands in the portfolio.
