Your Tasks

  • Creation of CAD models for machining aerospace structures with multiple setups, as well as
  • Creation of inspection drawings in Siemens NX and (occasionally) Catia V5
  • Creation and provision of CAD models for 3D metrology/optical measurement
  • Working with and advancing PMI models in CAD (3D dimensioning instead of drawings)
  • Contributing to the digitization of work content and workflows
  • Participating in feasibility studies and developing improvement proposals for development projects (such as hydrogen tanks)
  • Coordinating with specialized departments such as Design, Work Planning, Measurement Technology, Manufacturing, and NC Programming
  • Participating in the definition of fixtures and requirements as a basis for equipment design

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor's/Master's (m/f/d) degree in Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering
    Strong knowledge of design and manufacturing development, preferably for aerospace products and in production engineering
  • Excellent knowledge of CAD (NX and Catia V5)
  • PLM knowledge (ideally Teamcenter) is desirable
    Good written and spoken English skills
  • Independent, structured, and goal-oriented work style
  • Strong interest in space exploration and new technologies (such as green hydrogen)
