The Senior Specialist Quantity Surveyor (Mechanical and Electrical) (m/f/d) supports Subcontracting Management within their area of expertise throughout the full project lifecycle. The Quantity Surveyor plays an integral role within the Procurement & Subcontracting Team by managing the interface between Engineering and Procurement & Subcontracting, as well as overseeing the subcontractor payment application process.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

  • Analyze drawings, specifications, and tender documents to estimate quantities and costs.
  • Prepare Bills of Quantities (BoQs) or Schedules of Rates specific to M&E systems.
  • Use digital tools (e.g., Bluebeam, CostX, Revit, BIM) to ensure precision and efficiency in quantification.
  • Verify subcontractor payment applications and progress reports.
  • Support the Subcontract Manager with final measurements for contract close-out.

Show your expertise

  • Third-level education diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
  • At least five years of relevant post-qualification experience with a main contractor.
  • Relevant experience in EPC client projects with a total value exceeding 500 million.
  • Computer literate, with working knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and logical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work accurately with figures.
