Your Tasks

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the analysis and development of phase synchronization concepts for the two Harmony satellites.
  • Contribute to one of the mission's key performance areas related to radar USO synchronization.
  • Assist in evaluating and improving synchronization performance using GNSS-based measurements.

Learning Opportunities
  • Gain hands-on experience in a cutting-edge topic of a future satellite mission.
  • Develop expertise in GNSS data processing, radar systems, and synchronization techniques.
  • Enhance software development and analytical tool-building skills within a space technology environment.

Impact
  • Contribute to the understanding and characterization of phase synchronization performance.
  • Support the team in consolidating and refining the mission's phase error budget.
  • Help advance a novel synchronization concept that is critical to the success of the mission.

Your Qualifications

  • University degree in RF Engineering, Remote Sensing (preferred), Physics, Navigation, or a related field.
  • Strong team-working and collaboration skills.
  • Proactive attitude towards self-learning and professional development.
  • Willingness and ability to quickly learn and adapt to new topics and challenges.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in engineering programming languages and tools such as Python, MATLAB, or similar.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with data analysis and engineering software tools is considered an advantage.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English is required.
