What You'll Do
- Own and manage backend infrastructure for permissions, auditability, traceability, and observability
- Design and oversee deployment architectures for hosted and self-hosted environments using infrastructure-as-code tools
- Enhance system reliability, performance, and security in production
- Partner closely with product teams to ship features while maintaining high quality standards
- Drive AI-native development practices to enable rapid, high-quality releases
Required:
- 1-6 years of backend engineering experience with a strong emphasis on permissions systems, auditability, traceability, and observability
- Hands-on experience with distributed systems and modern observability toolchains (metrics, logs, tracing)
- Comfortable working in a small founding team - strong ownership, initiative, and cross-functional coordination are essential
- Eligible to work in Germany and willing to work on-site in Berlin
Tech stack in use:
- TypeScript, NestJS, PostgreSQL, Prisma, Inngest, Mastra, React, Tailwind
Nice to have:
- Background in fintech, private markets, fund accounting, or enterprise SaaS
- Experience at companies operating in the AI/ML or financial operations space
- Salary: €70,000 - €110,000 per year, depending on experience
- Early-stage equity opportunity
- Direct impact on product direction and architecture at a founding-team level
