The Opportunity
We are looking for a strong Head of FP&A to lead the financial planning, reporting and performance management agenda for our DACH Wholesale business. This is a high-impact finance leadership role in a complex regional environment, covering Germany, Austria and Switzerland, 10 legal entities and approximately €420M turnover.
Reporting directly to the DACH Wholesale Finance Director, the successful candidate will act as a key finance leader for the region, ensuring robust closing processes, high-quality reporting, reliable forecasts and budgets, and clear performance insights to support management decisions.

This role is focused on FP&A leadership, closing coordination, reporting, forecasting and budgeting. It does not cover deep commercial controlling, sales analytics, BI transformation or data governance, which are managed through separate dedicated responsibilities.

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the DACH FP&A function, managing a team of five experienced finance professionals and building a strong culture of ownership, reliability and continuous improvement.
- Own the monthly closing coordination from an FP&A perspective, ensuring accurate, timely and well-explained financial results across the DACH Wholesale perimeter.
- Deliver high-quality management reporting, including monthly performance reviews, variance analysis, bridges and clear financial narratives for regional and Group stakeholders.
- Lead the forecasting and budgeting cycles, coordinating timelines, assumptions, submissions, consolidation and management review across 10 legal entities.
- Provide clear visibility on P&L performance, identifying risks, opportunities and key drivers behind revenue, margin, OPEX and profitability trends.
- Strengthen planning and reporting discipline across countries and entities by improving processes, calendars, templates and ways of working.
- Partner closely with accounting, local finance teams and business stakeholders to ensure consistency between financial reporting, operational reality and business priorities.
- Support decision-making for the DACH Wholesale leadership team with concise analysis, reliable numbers and actionable recommendations.
- Drive simplification and process improvement within the FP&A scope, reducing manual workload where possible and improving robustness of recurring finance cycles.
Role Scope Clarification
This role is focused on FP&A leadership, closing coordination, reporting, forecasting and budgeting. It does not cover deep commercial controlling, sales analytics, BI transformation or data governance, which are managed through separate dedicated responsibilities.
Candidate Profile
- Strong FP&A, controlling or finance business partnering background in an international, multi-entity environment.
- Proven experience leading closing, reporting, forecasting and budgeting processes at regional or country level.
- Comfortable managing complexity across several legal entities, countries, systems and stakeholder groups.
- Solid P&L understanding, with the ability to translate financial data into clear business insights and management recommendations.
- Previous people management experience, ideally with senior or experienced team members.
- Structured, reliable and process-oriented, with the ability to bring discipline, rhythm and consistency to recurring finance cycles.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to influence senior stakeholders with clarity and credibility.
- Hands-on leadership style: able to set direction, challenge numbers, coach the team and step into details when needed.
- Fluent English and German required.
- Based in Munich or willing to relocate to Munich; the role requires a strong local presence.
