Technical Project Manager Embedded Electronics - FPGA Development (f/m/x)

Your Role:
  • Lead and manage development projects for embedded electronics, firmware, and FPGA-based solutions from concept to product release
  • Define project scope, objectives, schedules, budgets, and resource plans in close collaboration with stakeholders and development teams
  • Coordinate interdisciplinary teams consisting of FPGA developers, hardware developers, architects, and external partners
  • Drive the execution of development activities and ensure alignment with technical, quality, cost, and schedule targets
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks and dependencies, and proactively implement mitigation strategies
  • Facilitate technical and management-level communication between development teams, stakeholders, suppliers, and management
  • Support technical decision-making by understanding system architectures, FPGA designs, firmware concepts, and hardware development processes
  • Ensure compliance with development processes, quality standards, and regulatory requirements where applicable
  • Coordinate project planning, milestone tracking, status reporting, and project reviews
  • Manage change requests, requirements updates, and project priorities throughout the development lifecycle
  • Foster collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement within the project team and across organisational boundaries
  • Contribute to the optimisation of development processes, project management methodologies, and engineering best practices


Your Profile:
  • Successfully completed studies in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, systems engineering, or a comparable field
  • Proven experience managing complex development projects in the field of embedded systems, electronics, firmware, or FPGA development
  • Good understanding of embedded hardware, firmware architectures, FPGA technologies, and system integration principles
  • Experience with project management methodologies, planning tools, risk management, and stakeholder management
  • Ability to coordinate interdisciplinary teams in an international and technically demanding environment
  • Strong communication, moderation, and leadership skills with the ability to align diverse stakeholders
  • Experience managing technical suppliers and external development partners is an advantage
  • Analytical and structured working style combined with a solution-oriented mindset
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • High level of ownership, initiative, and commitment to delivering successful project outcomes
  • Excellent German and English language skills, both written and spoken
  • Passion for innovation and the successful delivery of advanced technology solutions
