Howmet Fastening Systems (HFS) is a business unit of Howmet Aerospace, headquartered in Torrance, California. We hold the number one global position in aerospace fastening systems, and we're the North American leader in commercial transportation fasteners. Our high-tech, multi-material fastening systems are found nose to tail on aircraft and aerospace engines. Our products are also critical components of industrial gas turbines, automobiles, commercial transportation vehicles, and construction and industrial equipment.
- Neuerstellung, Reinigung und Prüfung von metallischen Werkzeugen unter Benutzung sämtlicher konventioneller und NC-kontrollierter Maschinen des WZB. Hierzu gehören insb.
- Dreh- und Fräsmaschinen sowie Schleifmaschinen
- Erodiermaschine
- Graviermaschine
- Schweiß- und Lötanlagen (inkl. Induktion)
- Durchführung und Überwachung von Tätigkeiten
- (Neuerstellung von Presswerkzeugen, Reinigung und Prüfung von Werkzeugen, Werkstatt und Maschinenpflege im Werkzeugbau, Betreuung der Werkzeugausgabe inkl. der Verwaltung)
Qualifications
- Abgeschlossene Ausbildung als Werkzeugmechaniker (oder vergleichbare Qualifikation) - du bist Profi, kein Bastler
- Mehrjährige Erfahrung - du weißt, wie die Maschine schnurrt
- Erste Erfahrung im Werkzeugbau - du hast schon mal Metall zum Glänzen gebracht
- Strukturierte, zuverlässige und teamorientierte Arbeitsweise - Chaos bleibt draußen, Teamgeist kommt rein
