About this role

For our client in the aerospace industry, we are seeking motivated candidates for the following position in Hamburg, Germany, to start immediately on a temporary staffing basis:

Engineer (m/f/d) HDV - Ref. 70318

Job Profile:

Lead and take responsibility for HDV ("Achieving Support Readiness") sub-projects. Initiate measures to ensure project progress and successful realization in the event of deviations.

Support the comprehensive and long-term management of various customer organizations and key stakeholders, aiming for high customer satisfaction and retention. Ensure the successful implementation of customer requirements, maintain project-related customer contacts, and guarantee consistent service delivery.

Create and take responsibility for design specifications based on customer requirements-in collaboration with engineering departments and in compliance with legal frameworks-to serve as the foundation for project execution.

Prepare status reports and deliver presentations during project reviews (both internally and within the customer organization). Independently prepare for, conduct, and follow up on customer meetings, and coordinate the implementation of agreed-upon measures.

Regularly perform LSA (Logistic Support Analysis), LORA (Level of Repair Analysis), and LCCA (Lifecycle Cost Analysis), and derive implications, development premises, or risk assessments for the project.

Develop concepts for commissioning, operation, user training, maintenance/servicing, and lifecycle support of the aircraft/system, and coordinate these with the relevant specialist departments.

Provide support on priority issues and special topics. Personal Requirements (Education, Knowledge, Skills):

Completed university degree (Master's, Bachelor's, University of Applied Sciences, or *Diplom*) in Industrial or General Engineering-preferably specializing in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering-or a comparable field of study

- or equivalent qualifications acquired through advanced specialized training and relevant professional experience

Professional experience in aviation certification/airworthiness (military/civil) desirable

Very good knowledge of development processes and aviation regulations/legislation

Ideally within a defense environment

Several years of experience as a project manager or sub-project manager, ideally in the aviation sector

Several years of experience in Integrated Logistic Support (ILS), Integrated Product Support (IPS), Service Engineering, or Customer Support within the civil or military sectors

Ideally, experience supporting military systems in an international context, as well as knowledge regarding the operation of military aircraft, their systems, procedures, and deployment concepts

Good IT skills (MS Office)

Excellent negotiation skills, assertiveness, and strong powers of persuasion

Clear verbal and written communication skills in German and English (at least C1 level); additional foreign languages an asset

Very good analytical skills

Strong conceptual skills

Quick grasp of complex issues; objective and sound judgment

Language Skills

English Level C1 - Proficient
