The Peter Löscher Endowed Chair of Business Ethics at TUM is seeking a part-time (75%) Research Associate (PhD candidate or Postdoc) (m/f/d), starting 1 December 2026.
The Peter Löscher Endowed Chair of Business Ethics at the Technical University of Munich conducts research on the conditions for ethical action in a globalized world. This includes analyzing socio-economic frameworks and their incentives, as well as evaluating the adequacy of ethical categories. The aim is to develop practical recommendations and guidance for actors in business, politics, and society facing ethical challenges.
To strengthen our team, we are looking to fill a part-time (75%) position as a Research Associate (PhD candidate or Postdoc) (m/f/d) starting 1 December 2026.
Applicant's project:
You will conduct research in business ethics and corporate ethics (broadly understood), including related topics. A connection to AI ethics is desirable but not required.

- Conducting academic research projects from conception to publication
- Presenting research findings at international conferences
- Writing and publishing scientific papers
- Supporting teaching activities
- Contributing to organizational tasks at the chair
- Assisting in the preparation and development of research projects
Applicant's profile:
- Completed university degree in a relevant discipline
- Experience in academic research and scientific work
- Strong curiosity and interest in research questions
- Willingness to work in an interdisciplinary environment
- High level of commitment, teamwork, and communication skills
