As a working student in simulation, you will set up and develop simulation environments that mirror and extend our real-world robotic hardware setups. You'll work across the full simulation stack from sourcing and creating 3D assets to writing simulation configuration code to running and monitoring simulations.

Your Responsibilities
- Build and maintain simulation environments in IsaacSim, including scene setup and configuration
- Source, create, and integrate 3D assets to match our physical hardware
- Calibrate simulations to closely reflect real-world hardware behavior (sim-to-real transfer)
- Improve internal tooling and debugging workflows for the simulation pipeline
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a degree program in robotics, software engineering, or a related field
- Good Python skills
- Experience with Git, Ubuntu, and working on code projects in teams
- Fundamental knowledge of rigid body dynamics
- Self-motivated and able to drive work forward independently with minimal supervision
- Bonus: prior experience with IsaacSim, MuJoCo, USD, ROS, Robot modeling, or 3D content creation tools (e.g. Blender, Onshape, SolidWorks)
