Electrical Engineer (Cabling & Cable Routing)

Role Overview

As an Electrical Engineer - Cabling & Cable Routing, you will design and coordinate cabling systems for largescale industrial and energy projects, including hydrogen plants and power stations. You will ensure safe, compliant, and costeffective solutions while working closely with project teams, suppliers, and construction sites in an international environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and design cable, cable tray, and conduit systems for complex industrial projects
• Develop and verify concepts for cable routing, grounding/earthing, lightning protection, and component layout
• Ensure compliance with IEC/DIN standards and internal engineering guidelines
• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BoQs) for cables and cable support systems
• Coordinate and manage cable data across engineering tools and project interfaces
• Support sales and proposal teams with technical solutions and cost optimization
• Perform technical evaluation and coordination of suppliers
• Provide engineering support to construction sites, including clarification of technical queries

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree, Technician qualification, or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Several years of experience in cable routing planning and low/mediumvoltage cable systems
• Experience with industrial plants, power stations, or similar infrastructure projects
• Knowledge of IEC/DIN standards for cabling, grounding, and lightning protection
• Experience with 3D engineering tools (e.g., E3D, Revit); digitalization or AIbased engineering is a plus
• Willingness to collaborate in international projects and travel occasionally
